Perspectiv, Inc., a Delaware corporation respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”), as may be referred to in other Company documentation, including but not limited to the Terms of Use). This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website at https://www.getperspectiv.com/ and all related subdomains (“Website”) to access our Services (as defined in the Terms of Use) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing such information. 

  2. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect on the Website: 

    1. when you browse our Website, or 

    2. when you create a Perspectiv Account (as defined in the Terms of Use), or 

    3. in emails and other electronic messages between you and the Company.

    1. collected by the Company offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by the Company or any third party; or 

    2. any third party, including through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from or on the Website.

If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your remedy is to not access and use the Website. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide email notice to any registered users about material changes to our Privacy Policy. Please note that the “Last Modified Date” listed above will also indicate when this Privacy Policy has been updated. Your continued use of the Website after we make changes to our Privacy Policy is deemed to be the acceptance of those changes, so please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates.

II. Children’s Privacy

 

You must be at least 13 years old or older to use our Services or we must have the expressed consent of a parent or legal guardian. We will not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If Company learns that we have collected or received personal information from a person under 13 without the expressed consent of such person’s parent or legal guardian, we will delete that information. Additionally, no one under the age 18 may provide any personal information to or on Website without the permission of their parent or legal guardian. If you are a minor under the age of 18, you will need the permission of your parent or legal guardian prior to using the Website to use the Services or to provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any other information.     1. to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request,

    3. if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Perspectiv, its affiliates, other Perspectiv users, or others.

VI. Data Retention and Security of Your Information

  1. We generally retain your information as long as you keep your account open or as needed to provide you our Services. This includes data you or others provided to us and data generated or inferred from your use of our Services. 

  2. You may delete your account at https://www.myperspectiv.com/settings/account. After deleting your account, we may retain information about you for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy unless prohibited by law. For example, we may retain information to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services or to comply with legal obligations. We may also maintain residual copies of your Personal Information in our backup systems. 

  3. We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us will be saved in encrypted format on our secure servers. All transactions will be encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. 

  4. There would be no public access to any of the bucket where the files and databases are stored. 

  5. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to the Company. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website.

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides California consumers with the right to request access to their personal data, additional details about our information practices and deletion of their personal information (subject to certain exceptions). California consumers also have the right to opt out of sales of personal information, if applicable. We describe how California consumers can exercise their rights under the CCPA in this Section. Please note that you may designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf by providing written materials demonstrating that you have granted the authorized agent power of attorney. Please note that if an authorized agent submits a request on your behalf, we may need to contact you to verify your identity and protect the security of your personal information. We will not fulfill your CCPA request unless you have provided sufficient information for us to reasonably verify you are the consumer about whom we collected personal information. We will not discriminate against you if you choose to exercise your rights under the CCPA. 

  2. You may request, no more than twice in a twelve (12) month period, access to the specific pieces of personal data we have collected about you in the last twelve (12) months. You may also request additional details about our information practices, including the categories of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of such collection, the categories of personal information we share for a legitimate business or commercial purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share your personal information. After submitting your request, please monitor your email for a verification email. We are required by law to verify your identity prior to granting access to your data in order to protect your privacy and security.

California residents are entitled to ask us for a notice identifying the categories of personal information which we share with our affiliates and/or third parties for marketing purposes and providing contact information for such affiliates and/or third parties. If you are a California Resident and would like to exercise your rights under CCPA, please submit a written request using the information provided in the “Contract Information” section below. Our privacy team will examine your request and respond to you as quickly as possible.

The Website may contain links to other websites that are not affiliate with us. Any such link is not and is not intended to be, an endorsement of such other website or its content and you should review the terms of use and privacy policy of such third party website. These websites operate independently of us and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

You can subscribe from email, text, and phone communications at any time. To stop receiving our promotional emails, follow the unsubscribe instructions in the email messages you receive from us or contact us as described in the “Conformation Information” section below. To opt-out of receiving any text messages, follow the opt-out instructions in the text messages that you may receive from us. Note that you will continue to receive transaction-related emails regarding any services you have requested. We may also send you certain non-promotional communications regarding the Company and, to the extent permitted by law, you will not able to opt-out of those communications (i.e. communications regarding updates to this Privacy Policy).
